Come and enjoy the best of Brazilian music in Cambridge! Cores Do Samba is a Brazilian music band. The band explores the infectious, highly rhythmic and uplifting music from Brazil, with a particular focus on the Musica Popular Brasileira style of music. Arrangements by Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, Tom Jobim, Baden Powell, Djavan, and Joyce all feature in the set.

The band is fronted by Brazilian singer Caru Lins. Her live shows embrace not only her musical ingenuity but also a great deal of charm and humour. Caru has been a contracted singer in Malaysia, Panama, Sweden, and in London at places such as Ronnie Scott’s and one of London’s top five star Hotels – Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair – where she sang regularly for three years.
